My dog ate a cloth…will she be able to digest it?

We got sausage and it came in a cloth back, it was a half pound so the bag was about six inches long and made from cloth. she got it out of the trash and ate it. Will she be able to digest this?

No she will not be able to digest it

You need to call your vet ASAP

There are 2 possibilities

She could pass the bag when she eliminates

She could end up having it stay within her stomach or intestines and cause a blockage which would result in her needing surgery or could potentially cause her death.

I would call a vet immediately and get their advice as it is better to be safe than sorry

Has anyone started feeding yogurt or anything else to their dog and noticed a unexpected improvement in health?

My dog used to bite his paw and the white hair around turned pink. I started giving him yogurt every day and after about 2 weeks, his fur that has been growing in has stayed white rather than pink. (the pink is from red yeast growing in wet fur).

I am sure it’s the yogurt as nothing else has changed. Has anyone else experienced and improvement in your dog’s health as a result of feeding yogurt or anything else you were told was good for your dog?

I give my dogs live culture yoghurt every day. I do this from the first day I bring them home as puppies. None of them have ever had a problem with allergies.

We will see posts where people say not to give dogs yoghurt because they are lactose intolerant. A few dogs are, most are not. I’ve never had a lactose intolerant dog in the last 29 years. This includes the many rescue dogs I’ve had here as well as my own dogs.

A small pet for me that is calm and good as a companion?

I had a ferret and recently got rid of it due to the smell(which I didn’t believe to be as musky as it was) and due to her being extremely rambunctious. I’d like a Small Pet that is calm, doesn’t stink as bad as a ferret, and can be a good companion. I have a large small animal cage, so no need to worry about room. PS: Please don’t say birds, nor rats, because I’ve tried those, too. Same with bunnies and hamsters…anything new?

Rocks! Great company, don’t smell, don’t talk back, don’t move. Perfect calm pet!

okay iv been wanting a Exotic Pet that is very uncommon and i was thinking about a platypus but i heard on the internet that they are illegal and poisenous so besides that 1 what would be a good 1?
