I know that buying some animals are illegal, if someone could come up with a list of animals that are LEGAL to buy (And listen, im not talking to the sarcastic people who will say dog, cat, Im talking Exotic Pets, please)

First you have to know what animals are legal where you live because different places have different rules about that. Then you have to do lots and lots of research on whatever species you’re interested in and carefully think about what your life and home are suitable for. There is no universal exotic animal setup because of the drastically different needs of each species. You also have to have a vet nearby who knows how to treat your chosen species, as well as a lot of money so you can afford all the proper food, housing, vet bills, and whatever else it needs.
I don’t believe that any animal that isn’t on the endangered animals list is illegal to own. You just have to have a permit/license (as you stated) with enough training hours and adequate space to keep it.

Depends where you are?
For example, it’s illegal to own a gerbil in California. Therefore, that’s exotic.
